If you are currently experiencing or have previously experienced sexual assault, sexual exploitation, non-consensual distribution of intimate images, sexual harassment, stalking, intimate partner violence, or similar situations, we understand that simply living a good life can sometimes require immense effort. The Starling Sexual Violence Recovery Centre aims to accompany you on your recovery journey, to the extent that you are willing.

Counseling Services

According to the Ministry of Health and Welfare regulations, the Mind Rest Project provides different numbers of counseling sessions based on the experience type.

If you primarily face
sexual harassment or stalking

6 individual counseling sessions available annually
No other types currently available

If you primarily face issues of
sexual assault, intimate partner violence, or non-consensual dissemination of sexual images

12 to 16 individual counseling sessions are available annually.
Couple/family counseling can also be arranged as needed (up to 4 sessions).

If you primarily face
familial sexual abuse

16–20 individual counseling sessions are available annually,
with couple/family counseling (up to 4 sessions) arranged as needed.

If you have already utilized counseling subsidies from the Domestic Violence Prevention Center or the Social Welfare Bureau, you will not be able to simultaneously use this resource.

30-50 minute initial phone consultation within 5 days (qualifications based on initial consultation are divided into the following two types)

Scenario A: Ineligible for Subsidy

Not a victim of the aforementioned case
Receiving psychological rehabilitation/counseling subsidies from both the county/city domestic violence prevention center and the social welfare bureau

Discuss resource arrangements
